The project on the construction of the metrological center RGC Metering

The RGC Metering center, built by the Regional Gas Company (RGC) in Ukraine, is the second such facility in the country. It will not only produce advanced smart, turbine and rotary gas meters but also verify both household and industrial meters with the help of automated equipment from leading companies such as іnotech Meter Calibration Systems GmbH (Germany), AMETEK, and Hess. This ensures accuracy and reduces errors. The center operates under the Smart Factory principle of Industry 4.0 technology, bringing it up to global standards. The equipment at the metrology center ensures the technological cycle of meter verification in a fully automated mode, without human intervention, thus improving the quality of service for 200,000 customers per year.

Project description

The Advansys recently completed a significant investment project for the Regional Gas Company (RGC), constructing the RGC Metering metrology center, which will serve as a hub for the verification of gas meters from the entire western region of Ukraine. Spanning a total area of 1732 square meters and situated on a plot of over one hectare, the facility is located in Dragomyrchany, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ukraine and met high energy efficiency standards. The project was initiated in September 2021, and completed in December 2022. The construction of the metrology center was commissioned by Ivano-Frankivskgaz JSC and Lvivgaz JSC and executed efficiently by Advansys.

The Advansys team performed a comprehensive range of engineering and construction tasks, including the construction of the building with a well-planned layout and the implementation of all engineering systems. Despite the challenging conditions of martial situation, the team completed the project in close collaboration with the customer’s team.
