Prizes, awards and concert engagements

 

The Competition Committee has established the following prizes and awards in each nomination^:

 

  
First Prize USD 15 000* and Laureate title  
Second Prize USD 8 000* and Laureate title  
Third Prize USD 5 000* and Laureate title  
Fourth Prize USD 2 000* and Laureate title  
Fifth Prize USD 1 000* and Laureate title  
Special Prizes: USD 1 000* for the best performance of a piece by Mykola Lysenko

Notes:

^ in the SINGING nominations all prizes are awarded separately in male and female groups


* All prizes are paid in hryvnias (UAH) at the National Bank of Ukraine official exchange rate set on the day of the payment (please check the latest rate here). The prizes will be paid in cash and will be subject to taxes according to the Ukrainian law: for Ukrainian citizens - 15%; for foreign citizens - 30%.

 

** up to two accompanists in VIOLIN and CELLO nominations and up to two accompanists in both male and female groups of the SINGING nomination. These prizes cannot be awarded to the Competition official accompanists.
